A devoted husband. A thoughtful listener. Someone who remembers the small things and stays beside you when life becomes difficult.
That is the limitation of the format.
If a description sounds exactly like your husband, enjoy recognizing him in it. Give him credit for the behavior itself, rather than crediting the calendar.
And if none fits, a birthday list is unlikely to explain why.
A Better Way to Check Whether You Have a Good Partner
Think about an ordinary week rather than a special occasion.
Does he keep commitments? Does he respect your decisions? Can you discuss money and responsibilities openly? Does he show interest in your experience? When he makes a mistake, does he take responsibility?
Consider your own contribution too. Marriage involves two people making choices, having conversations, and adjusting arrangements as their circumstances change.
You do not need a perfect score or an idealized personality type. You need an honest view of how the relationship works.
Birth-month lists can provide a fun conversation starter. Ask which description each of you values most, or which quality you would like to practice more often.
The best compliment is ultimately more specific than “you were born in the right month.”
It is: “I notice how you treat me, and I appreciate what you do.”
